Marketing Your Divorce Mediation Practice Online

How to help grow your business and extend your reputation

During this webinar, Patty Murray will discuss the online marketing tools offered to you by the Council as a member benefit. If you have not used them yet, we strongly encourage you to start implementing these tools to help promote and grow your mediation practice. (Patty has 25+ years experience in marketing and PR for nonprofits and businesses.)

In addition, Patty will host a roundtable discussion with BJ Mann and Jennifer Safian, two NYSCDM accredited members and veteran mediators, who have successfully grown their mediation practices using a number of online strategies and traditional marketing tactics. They will share their experiences and lessons learned while developing and implementing their marketing programs. The panel also will address your questions live during the webinar.

About Our Panelists

BJ Mann brings over 30 years of business, mentoring, coaching and community leadership to her practice of mediation. BJ is a certified mediator for and a volunteer with the Center for Dispute Settlement. She is a past president of the Rochester Association of Family Mediators. She is past board member of the New York State Council of Divorce Mediation. BJ Mann Divorce, Family, and Workplace Mediation in Rochester helps develop divorce and separation agreements and resolve other conflicts through mediation for couples, families, life partners and workplaces. 

Jennifer Safian has been in private practice in Manhattan as a Family and Divorce Mediator since 2003. Jennifer is dedicated to helping families going through divorce, bringing some calm and reassurance to the them during this traumatic time. Jennifer has extensive training in family and divorce mediation, child protection mediation, elder mediation, transformative meditation and same-sex mediation. Jennifer is an accredited mediator member of NYSCDM and FDMC, an advanced practitioner member of ACR, and a volunteer mediator working with NY family courts and other organizations. Jennifer mediates in English, French and Spanish.
